HOUSEWORK!!!!

So i found the above picture and thought it showed exactly how i feel today..

You know some days i feel that my life is consumed by washing, 

making beds, vacuuming, ironing and cooking...

I know i am not alone in this world....i'm sure there are millions of other

women ( and men for that matter..) out there that feel exactly the same way.

Anyway thats enough whinging for one post...

5 things that made me smile last week.....

1. Watching Jonty sitting on the lounge helping Lucy with her sight words..... they seem to always be fighting about random crap, so this really was something that brought a smile to my face...

2. On Wednesday I went out for lunch with mum, and i had the best chicken wrap eva........ sun dried tomatoes, eggplant....mmm.... theres nothin like a good feed to put a smile on your dial!!!

3. On Thursday I woke up to the sun shining through the blinds and for some strange reason it just made me smile.... :-)

4. Well for those of you that don't know, i work out at Kapooka Army Base. Its the training base for the Australian Army, which means that all of our beloved soldiers do their 80 days basic training there. So when they finish their training they 'March Out'.... it is a kind of ceremony that finalises their training which their family and friends are invited to come to... which brings to my number 4 thing... it was at last fridays march out that i seen a mother hug her son, you could see how proud she was of ' her boy '..... she had tears in her eyes..... this made me think of my own son and how proud i would be if that were him..... so that made me smile...

5. I got a really great comment on a facebook post from a friend that i haven't talked too for ages... its great to know that even if you don't see someone for a long time, and lose contact with old friends, that it doesn't mean that they stop caring...... to that person, if you are reading this... thanx....xxxxx

you know just thinking about these things is making me smile.. So my advice to anyone who is ever feeling a little down hearted, just think back to something or someone that has ever made you smile and i can guarantee that without you even noticing..... A smile will appear... :-)

A new Day!!!!!!

So this morning i woke up to the sun peering thru my blinds....
and for some strange reason it made me smile.... :-)
Today brings new things, different from yesterday,
different from tomorrow.....
A new day can be better than yesterday, but not as good as tomorrow...
A new day is what you make of it.....
So lets make it good!!!!
Tell those you love that you love them,
smile at a stranger, text someone 'have a nice day'...
You'll be surprised at how good it makes you feel...
So i hope everyone has a great day, I know i will!!!!

It's Raining..... again!!!

So it has been raining on & off for days now...
Now, I love summer, the hot days lazing by the pool or hanging out at the beach with the kids...
but there is something soothing and relaxing about rain......
maybe its the fact that you can lay about inside watching movies
or reading a good book, i don't know.. but i can tell you all that i am LOVING it..
oh... except for what it does to my hair, but we can't have it all now can we..

wow its been a long time.......

Wow.. it has been a long time since i did this. I was reading my last post & seen that it was when we were talking bout moving back to Melbourne, well we didn't.... the kids were too settled at that time so i decided not to, but i can guarantee you that i would of thought bout a thousand different places to move to since then, i am always thinking about moving. I think there is something exciting and exhilerating about moving ( some may say stressful though) and like i need the extra stress.... not!!!
Well lots has been going on in my little circle..... Jonty is now in Yr2,
he is growing up way too fast, there seems to be a little attitude growing
there as well.... hmmm.... nothing i can't handle though....lol!!
He is still lovin his footy and starts back playin in the next few weeks....hooray!!!
if theres nothin i love more, its standing in the freezing cold, sleety rain
watching football... ah, who am i kidding its all worth it when he scores a try, or
makes a great tackle :-) .
Lucy started school this year and is LOVING it!!!
Everyday is like her very first day, she jumps out of bed and runs out telling me
' Mum, mum its a school day!!'
she gets very upset on the weekends when she has to stay home...
my only question is.. How long will this last????
So that is what we r up to.... anyway will talk more soon...
